Roofing FAQ
How much does a new roof cost in Utah County?
It depends on size, pitch, material, and how many layers come off. We give free written quotes after seeing your roof, so you get a real number instead of a ballpark.
Should I call my insurance company or a roofer first after hail?
Getting a free inspection first is usually smart. If we find storm damage, we document it with photos you can share with your insurer. Your insurance company decides what's covered.
Do you offer financing?
Financing options may be available through third-party lenders, subject to credit approval. Ask during your quote and we'll walk you through what's available. Terms are set by the lender.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Work is performed by High Country Build Co LLC, Utah Contractor License #14307333-5501 (B100). The license number is at the bottom of every page.
What warranty comes with a new roof?
Material warranties come from the shingle or metal manufacturer, and we stand behind our workmanship. We'll spell out exactly what's covered in your written quote.
Do you do commercial roofing?
Yes. We install and repair TPO, EPDM, PVC, and modified bitumen systems, and apply roof coatings to extend the life of existing commercial roofs. We'll recommend the right system for your building and budget.
Can my roof handle Utah snow and ice dams?
Snow load and ice dams are the big ones here. We check decking, ventilation, and insulation, install ice-and-water shield at eaves and valleys, and can recommend metal or standing seam for faster snow shedding.
How fast can you come out?
We aim to respond to every request within one business day.
